Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sevabase platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Sevabase is a product operated by Sevabase ("Sevabase", "we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

Sevabase provides a multi-tenant SaaS platform for nonprofit organizations, including website building, membership management, event management, donation processing, CRM capabilities, and (where enabled and opted in) SMS notifications.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Tenant Responsibilities

Organizations creating a tenant on the platform are responsible for all content published on their subdomain, compliance with applicable laws (including messaging and consent laws such as the TCPA where SMS is used), and the actions of their administrators and members.

5. Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed according to your selected plan.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Refund policies are governed by the specific plan terms.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Harvest or collect information about other users without consent
• Send messages to recipients who have not provided valid consent

7. Intellectual Property

The Sevabase platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Sevabase. Content you upload remains your property, but you grant us a license to host and display it as part of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may cancel your account at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sevabase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered SMS messages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

12. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to the Sevabase SMS program you agree to the following:

• Program: Sevabase (Sevabase) sends messages on behalf of the organization you belong to — donation receipts, event confirmations and reminders, membership renewal notices, login verification codes, and occasional fundraising or donation requests and event announcements from that organization.
• Consent: You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking an unchecked-by-default consent box, or by texting an opt-in keyword (START, YES, or JOIN) to our number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message frequency varies based on your activity and account events.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt-out: Text STOP at any time to cancel; text START to opt back in.
• Help: Text HELP, or contact support@sevabase.io.
• Supported carriers may change; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may modify or discontinue the SMS program at any time.
